Countries are even establishing new universities just for the purpose of training younger generation for jobs that are not even invented; and companies using Design Thinking concepts in their operations are showcasing significant profitability increase compared to those who don’t.

Therefore, we believe it is of paramount importance to introduce Design Thinking concepts to Sri Lanka, as, these will better equip us to compete with the best in the world. These methods unlock a new dimension of thinking, which is proven to provides the basis for progress in a highly competitive space.

Further, cultivating these refreshing concepts in minds of working adults, will not only ignite a transformative attitude change to unleash their potential, but also, will trigger a positive influence on the overall culture of the Sri Lankan society.

Our programs are designed by Prof. Suranga Nanayakara  of University of Auckland and delivered by panel of industrial experts and Design Thinking practitioners Workshops are run Face-to-Face, where the Design Thinking concepts will be first introduced through a series of hands-on interactive activities. Therein, the participants are taken through a journey to invigorate the mindset to looks at situations differently and articulate measurable, and impactful innovations.

Design Thinking workshops are designed by Prof. Suranga Nanayakara of University of Auckland (UoA). Before joining UoA, Suranga was an Assistant Professor at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Fluid Interfaces group, MIT Media Lab. He received his PhD in 2010 and BEng in 2005 from the National University of Singapore. For the totality and breadth of achievements, he has won many awards including young inventor under 35 (TR35 award) in the Asia Pacific region by MIT TechReview, Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka (TOYP), and INK Fellowship 2016.
